What does the class schedule look like?
Fall and spring semesters are 11-week programs. Class meets Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:30pm and every other Saturday from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The Fall class starts the first Monday after Labor Day and the Spring class starts the first Monday in February. The Summer program is a condensed 4-week program, starting the first week of June and ending the last week of June. Classes are M-F 5:30 - 8:30pm and every Saturday 9:00am – 4:00pm.
We also offer a Challenge Course.  The cost of the Challenge Course is $599.  This course is for individuals who already have previous caregiver or healthcare experience. Challenge students will take a knowledge assessment exam prior to enrolling to ensure the challenge class is the appropriate choice.
The Gallatin CNA School is certified as a state testing facility.  The Montana State CNA certification exam will be administered during the last class sessions each semester.

Where is the school located?
The school is located at 40 Cayenne Trail, Belgrade, MT  59714.

How do I apply?
Go to the Registration Page by clicking on the word Registration here or at the top of the page. You should be able to either download the application, complete it, and then return it, or fill in the pdf file, save it, and then return it following the instructions on that page.

Must I pay tuition before class starts, or can I make payments?
Students can set up a payment schedule, provided a minimum of $100 is paid on the first day of class (this allows you to take your books home) and the full amount of the tuition is paid at least 10 days prior to State testing.

What if I need tuition assistance?
Call Carol Scott at 406-570-6041, and the options that are available will be discussed.

Can I take this class before I graduate from high school?
Yes, Montana has no age requirements for this program. In the past, students have been as young as 15 and as old as 70!

What happens if I must “miss” class hours?
Attending class is very important; however, if you have a problem, call Carol Scott at 406-570-6041 prior to the class to see if arrangements can be made.  Keep in mind, however, per state guidelines, you can not miss more than 7.5 hours (10%) of class time.

Do you provide career placement services?
We provide career placement services for all of our students, enabling them to find employment after graduation.  CNAs may find employment in various healthcare settings, including home care agencies, long term care settings, acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice offices.
